We Bribed Her With Juice

Charlotte didn't want to pose for pics of her new clothes so we bribed her with juice. It worked.

Better Late Than Never

It's been way too long since I've posted anything. Life has just been a bit crazy, but I've managed to finish a few projects for my daughter.

I added a ruffle to the bottom edge of a top that I sewed a while ago. I thought that it looked a bit like a Walmart greeter vest or a flying monkey vest, so I listened to your suggestions. I think it's much cuter now.

This next tunic top was made using view B from McCall's 5458. I used a vintage pillow case and some stash fabric (lining).

Lastly, I finished a three piece fall outfit. The tank top and tunic top were made using McCall's 5794 and the pants were made using Burda 9708 (with a bit of tweaking). All of the fabric was stash. I only had to purchase thread and elastic. I used some vintage lace and fabric for the tank, vintage bias tape for the tunic, and twill leftovers from a sling for the pants.

My next projects are a pair of linen lounge pants for my mom and a baby quilt.

See you soon,

NinjaEema

All very cute! I am impressed by your skill, especially since I cannot darn socks. I noticed on Etsy you had some jewelry. Perhaps we could get together and do some beading sometime. I used to make earrings a lot, then didn't, and now I'm on a kick again. I just do a ton of drop earrings on straight pins; I could use more designs in my repertoire, and perhaps a crafty lady like you will inspire me to be more creative.

Thanks everyone.

@Maria, Stacy mentioned that she wanted to learn how to make jewelry. Maybe the three of us can work on it together.
