Mehndi

My friend Jessica is really pregnant. She's due in less than a week. When we hung out the other day she mentioned that she wanted to have a henna tattoo done on her belly before she delivered. We had our Mehndi party this morning. These pics show the henna paste still on. I'll take some pics tomorrow, after the henna is removed, so you can see the final results.

Jessica's belly. Asa (the baby) was moving around a lot while I was applying the henna. Jessica did the butterflies by herself!

Jenni's ankle. I applied a similar design to Kavita's ankle, but I forgot to take a picture.
